WEIQ is ready for VERI*FACTU in Spain and helps restaurants prepare their POS systems and invoicing workflows ahead of 2027. Companies subject to Spanish corporate tax must have adapted invoicing systems by January 1, 2027, at the latest; other affected business owners by July 1, 2027, at the latest. The requirements include traceable invoice entries and a QR code on invoices and simplified invoices. The Swedish Tax Agency's new requirements for cash registers 2027
Starting January 1, 2027, cash registers covered by the new requirements in SKVFS 2021:17 must be able to generate records from the journal memory in XML format. For restaurants, this primarily means that the cash register system must be able to provide structured data when needed – not that you have to submit an XML file every day. The transitional rule for older cash registers applies through December 31, 2026. WEIQ complies with the requirements and will be ready with the new XML export when the rules fully take effect.

The file contains information about which accounts in the BAS chart of accounts should be debited and credited for all transactions that occur in our system.
